A team of independent experts residing in the UK have initiated an assessment of Lebanon’s current economic and financial meltdown.

In a paper entitled “Finding a way out of Lebanon’s crisis: the case for a comprehensive and equitable approach to debt restructuring”, Alia Moubayed, Gerard Zouein and others have used a model-based approach to explore potential exit strategies, scenarios for debt restructuring and burden sharing of the losses.
